NASA-BOT
Summary
A chat bot app that's also reponsive on a website. Its capable of interacting with any user and giving response concerning NASA and any information NASA covers, ranging from the space travel, NASA's tools, NASA's achievement's and teams etc. It responds from user's input which could be through text, images or audio's and gives responds based on this mediums.
How We Addressed This Challenge
My challenge tells stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools which is a chatbot system that can easily interact with a user and give reponse educating him or her interactively either with audio, text or images. NASA-BOT supports lifelong learning by anticipating and responding to community needs for information, by encouraging a desire to read, and by enriching the quality of life in the community. Global users and the surrounding community will have convenient access to electronic information resources through proven technology. In the virtual and physical libraries, our role will be to provide value-added products and services which guide and direct users to excellent sources of electronic information.
How We Developed This Project
INSPIRATION
To tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools that educates interactively either with audio, text or images, to support lifelong learning by anticipating and responding to community needs for information, by encouraging a desire to read, and by enriching the quality of life in the community
APPROACH
We sourced information about NASA, Earth Science, Space Science with which our responsive service (chat bot) will use interacting with users. Its been made to recognise text, audio and images and responds to users with any of the initial including video.
The space agency data is linked to the chat bot so it can get text, images responding to users need.
TOOLS
IBM Watson assistance was made use of with little adjustment of the service and code, which will be linked to the website and the mobile app.
PROBLEMS
Getting the codes the run lead to some debugging and painting images that will be used to communicate massages.
ACHIEVEMENT
Good knowledge of IBM Watson assistance was well taken and better, easier ways in getting jobs done.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
Resources from NASA data was provided for the chat bot so it can easily go through their informations provided and provided response to a user in need.
