Mission to Planet Earth: A Digital History

NASA’s activities in space have brought new knowledge of the Earth, inspiring new ways of thinking about humanity and the planet. However, many people aren’t aware that NASA studies the Earth in addition to other planets. Your challenge is to tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools. This will test your technical skills and your ability to think like a historian or educator.

You are in Nasa.

Summary

The idea is "You are in NASA", which is a website that consists of five sections. The first section is a RGB map and its 3D design. It contains a series of important dates in the life of NASA, and you can click on them to view an overview of what happened on that date. The second section is engaging animations that present events in a way that is interesting to young and old eyes. And the third section is a special section for NASA periodical articles. the fourth will be a chat box includes question's responses of visitors .The fifth and final section is a surprise because it includes "competitions", contains carefully selected questions for the three stages with certificates.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project for us historians is to tell NASA stories on our site using NASA articles and on our way, for example, with 3D images of space and planets and animated videos.

And for space enthusiasts and NASA, we will run competitions at different levels, "beginner, intermediate, superior" and give incentive awards to the first of them because we hope that people will reach the achievements of NASA and the fun space from the information we provide through NASA. A "Media" challenge that includes a "Mission to Planet Earth" challenge to inform all those interested in NASA's great history, the workers that it provided to the world, and the information that I discovered, whether on this planet or the galaxy itself.

How We Developed This Project

from the beginning of the space program, NASA venture has brought new knowledge about Earth For example, Earth-orbiting satellites have allowed us to observe our changing human and natural environment. Earth science data has had many scientific and commercial applications. this was the inspiration for us to tell the stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

And because our site reviews the history of NASA and its achievements, therefore the information must be documented, and that is why we used the NASA site to search for information, especially NASA topics, and these sites are of great importance. We knew many and in-depth information from them, so we knew that women have an important role in NASA, so Dr. Nancy Roman, the first chief astronomer at NASA Wan will be the first astronaut on the moon, at the age of 38

Neil A. Armstrong is from Wapakoneta, Ohio, and will be his first job

To reveal a plate whose message symbolizes the nature of the trip, and in order to discover with us more, dig deeper into our site you are in Nasa.
