Mission to Planet Earth: A Digital History

NASA’s activities in space have brought new knowledge of the Earth, inspiring new ways of thinking about humanity and the planet. However, many people aren’t aware that NASA studies the Earth in addition to other planets. Your challenge is to tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools. This will test your technical skills and your ability to think like a historian or educator.

Mission NISAR

Summary

This is an ongoing project of NASA in collaboration with ISRO. This satellite is expected to be launched in 2022. I have explained in our presentation in a detailed manner about the mission, aim of the mission, features of the mission, applications, and the components used along with the working mechanism. One who goes through our presentation will get the idea about the mission in depth.

How We Addressed This Challenge

I have made an audio presentation. A domain in the challenge named "Inform" gives us the challenge of making others to know about the works of NASA. So here, I have chosen a collaborated work of two space agencies and described about the mission in detail. Thus my project suits the challenge by intimating others to know the mission.

How We Developed This Project

The ongoing mission which may not be known to many people inspired us to make this presentation. Now ourselves got some idea about this mission and will make others too to know about this.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We have referred the space agency data to get an overall idea about the missions which made the concepts easier to understand and complete our task.
