Mission to Planet Earth: A Digital History

NASA’s activities in space have brought new knowledge of the Earth, inspiring new ways of thinking about humanity and the planet. However, many people aren’t aware that NASA studies the Earth in addition to other planets. Your challenge is to tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools. This will test your technical skills and your ability to think like a historian or educator.

#Take me to Space

Summary

Our project name is '''TAKE ME TO SPACE". The main aim is to make a responsive website which contain full of information about NASA. To design our website tools and language used are HTML, CSS, PHP, BOOTSTRAP, and MongoDB for database. In website we insert ''Home", "About", '"Contact", "Help", "Logout" pages. And pages for update information are Mission(newly and old), NASA TV, Gallery, Human In Space, History(of NASA), Benefits To You.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We develop a responsive website. We design this website and it is important because this website is design keeping in the view to provide multiple information in one site so that reader need not to go elsewhere for any information. This website provide all information about NASA to the reader. It works like that if anyone want any information about NASA then the user can access our website only typing our website URL link. And there is other feature is also available that if any user want update about new technology or anything then they should do sign up in our website and make their profile. We hope to design a productive website so that our website is helpful to readers and also we hope that our project will be selected for next round of the space app challenge.

How We Developed This Project

We didn't found full information related to the space technology anywhere so we all decided to design a collective information website. Our first approach to developing this project is that we divide the work among all team members, so that everyone in the team should participate in website designing. Tools and coding languages use in this project are HTML, CSS, BOOTSTRAP, PHP and MongoDB database. Our team don't face much problem but sometimes network issues occurred and the big achievement for our team is that we are successful in making a responsive website.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

You can use any open data you'd like. However, to be eligible for Judging, you must also use data from NASA and/or one of NASA's partner agencies for Space Apps 2020 (CSA, CNES, JAXA, etc.). Describe how it was used or how it influenced your project. We can use NASA space agency data, to collect the information about the Major mission carried by NASA like, Hubble, Apollo, Voyager etc. and also about the famous astronauts of NASA like, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin. etc.

also collect the information about the purpose behind every apace mission which available on our website.

Project Demo

You can use any open data you'd like. However, to be eligible for Judging, you must also use data from NASA and/or one of NASA's partner agencies for Space Apps 2020 (CSA, CNES, JAXA, etc.). Describe how it was used or how it influenced your project.

Data & Resources

We can use data form the NASA space agency Official Website and as well as the from www.space.com

we can fetch data related to the NASA space mission form Nasa official website, as well as also took help of space.com, and the data related to the famous astronauts are found on the Nasa official website. along with the purpose and time period of serving and the mission related to each astronauts, also get the purpose of each mission launched by NASA in the development of human mankind and space exploration.
