Hey! What Are You Looking At?

The High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) archives space agencies' data from missions studying electromagnetic radiation from extremely energetic cosmic phenomena (e.g., gravitational wave detections, gamma ray bursts, and supernovae). The Canadian Astronomy Data Center (CADC) is another repository containing missions studying comets, asteroids, and exoplanets among other things. Your challenge is to create a visualization tool that can help people interested in these phenomena to access the data quickly and easily.

Beyond The Stars

Summary

This project is to create an App, the idea is to optimize this data by sorting it by categories, for example: "spiral galaxies, satellites, planets, meteorites, asteroids, moons, nebulae, etc. in which users can enter to the celestial bodies of our solar system. On planets it will not be limited to their outer surface except cases like Saturn; but it will be possible to explore them internally, the purpose of this project is to spread science and astronomy, and at the same time, to fill in interest and expose information collected in recent decades to all audiences, from researchers to dream children.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We develop an application that can work with packages created by the user for easy access to the vast information of NASA; in addition to being able to make an explorable map the surfaces of planets external to the earth based on the 3D design.

It is important because it would be able to put the scope of science to more people being able to provide real data obtained through observation.

It works by collecting the data obtained by NASA and other space agencies providing it through our app through the API interface.

How We Developed This Project

Our project was developed from seeking to create an application accessible to users through which they can review and obtain data from the observation of astronomical events, it requires the use of an API and programming language as well as glender, 3dsmax and Autocad as well as recommendations we would use huawei or apple operating systems

We present problems with the business model due to lack of information about it but we would seek to solve it by investigating more about it, clarifying well the negotiation model to take into account.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

These data obtained from NASA will be selected by type of information, that is, information on planets, stars, galaxies, nebulae, black holes, etc.

This information will be supplied to the application so that the user can access it more easily, less time and above all, reliable information.
