. So, with the aid of an expert in the chat, I reached up the conclusion that in a 'Observation Table Type' catalog there will be available all the data needed to make the visualization an useful tool, which are: name, coordinates (right ascension, declination), exposure time (starting and ending), observation ID. From this, the user will have easily at hand the data required to run a more complex query in one of the already available online interfaces.

. Going through the archives for downloading the databases I decided to prioritize NuStar, XMM-Newton, Swift and Chandra databases. I will be adding Spitzer and HST(Hubble) databases if I have time to spare.
. Deciding which fields I will be displaying, so this is critical and will define the whole project. Apparently the user needs to know what(Observed Table types) was being observed and when (Object Table type). How would I merge different catalogs/datasets to dispose such information? Is it even possible? Maybe I will have to choose one of the two due to practical reasons; I'll wait for an expert feedback on the chat and take a decision. The tool have to be useful.

. I was now able to retrieve data collections through HEASARC archives. I downloaded a CHANDRA mission's catalog 'chanmaster'. However, following an expert advise I'll focus on NuSTAR and XMM missions since these data sources may provide more pictorial content.

. I now have an established methodology: I know where to look for a mission and its catalogs; I know that images are products (dataset) of a catalog and aren't necessarily generate, so catalogs may only contain numerical data, for example; I understand now that some dimensions (columns, e.g., 'obsid' and 'exposure') may be useul for studying phenomenas. Even so, should a catalog contain images (gif, jpeg) it may be accessible by the Sky View URL queries.
. I was able to load test datasets in Tableau Prep without any issues, in order to create the visualization in Tableau. I'll download the entire datasets now and start the visualization creation.

. Support obtained from experts in the challenge channel. FTP repository constains raw and data on different levels of processing. In order to obtain a copy of the databases there will be two web interfaces to do so and, browse through missions to understand the data. I will be trying my way through Xamin interface, going through Chandra dataset for initial attempts. Later will try to include more missions as I see if I get all set in Tableau.
