Hey! What Are You Looking At?

The High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) archives space agencies' data from missions studying electromagnetic radiation from extremely energetic cosmic phenomena (e.g., gravitational wave detections, gamma ray bursts, and supernovae). The Canadian Astronomy Data Center (CADC) is another repository containing missions studying comets, asteroids, and exoplanets among other things. Your challenge is to create a visualization tool that can help people interested in these phenomena to access the data quickly and easily.

Summary

Every user wants to interact with space events and wonder to know how this all happens and how they look like. As the need to view the imaging view we came up with the idea to show current and latest data of supernovae explosions and current missions.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed a web application that will allow users to get the data about some very interesting deep space phenomenon which are usually very complicated to understand by general audience.

This Projects aims erase the barrier between scientists and ordinary citizens.

This is very important initiative because everyone have a right to know about the universe they are living in.

It gives some very interesting features to our users like skymaps and Virtual Telescope to analyze their favorite astronomical events. It also gives information about the current missions going on from different space organizations. So it plays a very important role inspiring people around the globe.

How We Developed This Project

We created a webapp using Flask and simple HTML,CSS,JS, And attaching some very spectacular apis to provide it the Best Shape. We have three different pages that will be show events data. Let's take our main and important page feature i.e. Supernova, we can have different views from different different satellites and can be seen a star or supernova from different positions(coordinates) and we can also have live view or animation.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used stock images from NASA.

Data & Resources

We used open data to show the live events and we can get data sets from that to predict the historic time of an event, historic date of an event to get the view from telescope.
