Our challenge (a one health approach) is to take an interdisciplinary approach, using both Earth science and health science. One of the most important steps to decrease negative effects of air pollution is increasing the oxygen amount. So we developed a product to make it. As a result of our research, we have found that algae are one of the most important oxygen sources in the world. So we decided to use this property of algae to increase oxygen ratio, especially in crowded habitats.
As we search the challenges, we looked at the resources that space apps challenge offers us. When we examined the data at WHO, we learned that air pollution can kill people even with the breathing we need most, and it cause a lot of death. In order to solve this problem, we tried to increase the amount of oxygen in the environments where people are located, at least thinking that we can't prevent a lot of things that cause air pollution on our own.
We use WHO and GHO data.
