A One Health Approach

Air pollution is a major global environmental health risk, causing an estimated seven million deaths across the globe annually. Your challenge is to take an interdisciplinary approach, using both Earth science and health science, and integrate different types of datasets and applications to study the effects of air pollution.

From carbon dioxide to methane

Summary

We will help factory owners to produce biogas like methane from Carbon dioxide. Our device will convert Carbon dioxide into a methane, which we know it is very useful and can be used in the manufacture of car fuels and etc.. Our idea is based on a chemical process that occurs between substances that may be harmful, but when combined, this gas is produced and if we use it in a correct manner, we will benefit from it all Aspects.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project will develop and solve the problem of air pollution because air pollution harms humans, animals and the entire environment, and if it is achieved on the ground it will achieve great success as it reduces air pollution and at the same time it will help in producing the main fuel gas which is methane gas and We start to get rid of the use of fossil fuels that are harmful to the environment as well, which is that we enter the gases that come out of factory chimneys and purify them so that they consist of only carbon dioxide and add hydrogen gas and ruthenium to them, and therefore after the chemical reaction occurs, methane is produced and so we hope that These humble solutions that we have developed help in solving the problems of air pollution and the environment.

How We Developed This Project

What inspired us is that we seek and try to improve the environment for the better, and live in a healthy life from pollution that may harm us and this air pollution will penetrate deep into the lungs, heart and blood vessels, causing diseases, such as stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and respiratory infections, including inflammation Pulmonary etc.. and many people die every year because of air pollution. The way we work we see the best in terms of cooperation. We divided some and conducted many online meetings until we reached many solutions, including solutions we do best to choose the best one that we see will benefit people. We studied the problem and its effects on us and studied how this problem can be solved. We found that it can be solved by chemical methods until we get rid of gas. It can cause harm to the entire universe, and after studying the solution, we studied how it can be implemented in ways that are appropriate for our age and our capabilities, and then we put prototype of our project through which we found that it can be implemented on factories because they produce the CO2 gas. In our project, we used reliable search tools such as Google Scholar, resources of NASA and researches. We achieved what we set our vision and the goal that we want to achieve before start our work, and we wrote the scientific research that proves that there is a real problem that must be solved and we put the solution with the Prototype. We decided to solve it by finding results and materials, and then concluding the link between it and our project. the problems is that we couldn't do any offline meetings because we are from different areas, but we solve this problem by doing online meetings, also we wouldn't open at the same time.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used NASA resources and World Health Organization (WHO) researches, we also use researches from Google Scholar to know disasters and problems that occurred before this time, to know solutions to them, the latest developments that occurred on them, and how these solutions have been modified and become more appropriate in many countries, including China and others, and this resource inspired us to make our prototype and also in the project file for the Alpha team.
