A web page for the dissemination of scientific information was developed which allows
the user an interactive learning experience in which they can visualize and analyze online maps regarding COVID 19 cases and thus find out about the relationship that it has with SO2 and NO2, consequently reducing COVID 19 infections.
The cases of COVID19 in Peru amount to 825,000 cases and 32,665 deaths. Consequently, it was necessary for people to be aware of the factors that could increase the causes of death due to COVID19.
The project's approach uses geospatial information represented in an interactive way through online and downloadable maps. Geographic information systems such as QGIS and html programming were used in the development of the website. The data was downloaded from the Google Earth Engine platform which corresponds to Sentinel-5P NRTI NO2: Near Real-Time Nitrogen Dioxide and Sentinel-5P NRTI SO2: Near Real-Time Sulphur Dioxide, provided by ESA Copernicus.
ESA COPERNICUS data downloaded from the Google Earth Engine platform was used to facilitate the geoprocessing tasks.
