Poseidon is not Just a God
Summary
As IEEEMCBUgroup1, we chose the One Health Approach challenge. Because of air pollution is a major global environmental health risk, causing an estimated seven million deaths across the globe annually. In this 48 hours we searched so many resource, websites, articles etc. In the end of we have found that blue carbon plays an important role in preventing air pollution. We think that the way to increase the blue carbon is to protect the Posidonia and increase its quantity.
How We Addressed This Challenge
Research on coastal blue carbon, which absorbs large amounts of carbon in the earth's atmosphere, has led us to the Posidonia that produces this carbon. This sea creature, which has the characteristics of a land plant, brought to mind the possibility that it is open to production to known leaves, roots and seeds with farms or facilities that can be established; more Posidonia more fresh air!
How We Developed This Project
Air pollution is an essential health risk for our country and of course world. The fact that the world ecosystem will be endangered with the side effects of global warming due to air pollution in the near future has led us to find a solution to this problem. While looking for a solution to this challenge, we proceeded with a policy of protecting and increasing our natural resources, which fight air pollution from birth.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used the program in which we could examine the air pollution rate from the information given to us by NASA, thanks to this program, we determined the regions with the most air pollution in the world and tried to produce suitable solutions.
