A One Health Approach

Air pollution is a major global environmental health risk, causing an estimated seven million deaths across the globe annually. Your challenge is to take an interdisciplinary approach, using both Earth science and health science, and integrate different types of datasets and applications to study the effects of air pollution.

Summary

The project made by the team includes a website and will include the creation of an application in the future where the people could go and observe the impact of the pollution on the Daily lives of the common people. Web: https://planetsaviours.coThe Website consists of three pages as of now including a home page. The two main pages consist of collection of interactive graphs and maps which the users can scroll through the years in order to understand the change and impact over the years.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The project addressed the challenging by bringing the data togethor at one platform in an interactive mannerism. We also developed a website https://planetsaviours.co using the resources provided to us.

How We Developed This Project

The project was developed using the resources provided by NASA Space Apps Challenge Team including yet not limited to the use of GoDaddy Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Metomatics and Tableau and compiled onto the website https://planetsaviours.co

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

The Data used in Graphing and Mapping was based up on the data collected by the ESA, NASA and CSA. The data archived was used to develop tables and maps and graphs included on the website in order to access the impact of the pollution on the public life.
