Scanning for Lifeforms

This challenge addresses a pressing global need to track change in biological diversity, which is threatened by human-driven environmental change. Use space agency data to develop innovative ways to detect biological diversity on Earth, track and predict changes over time, and communicate that information to scientists and society.

Summary

The central idea of this project is to dig out the problems and look for the ways how we can bring improvement and changes in diversity of species.

How I Addressed This Challenge

Looking at the global necessity to look for the life forms in order to make this planet a better place, we chose this challenge. As in the present days, we live in the materialistic world, biodiversity has not been in concern or priority of many people, its importance to the present world, I would like to address this issue through this project. This project is not just limited within the words or the ideas here but I would put my best endeavours to do as my theory even in my pracfical life. It is basically based on the point to dig out utmost problems faced by bio-diversity. Also presenting some ideas on how can space based data or present technology be be useful to search and preserve the possible life forms here on earth. It can lead us towards the prosperous earth. My idea behind this project is not only bio-diversitie's conservation with theories but to give other/environmentalists/researchers with some general but creative ideas to help support their research and a road to prpsperous earth. I hope, it gives a bit idea.

How I Developed This Project

As I have already mentioned above, looking for new life forms, forming ideas and putting endeavours to preserve diversity within species is the most prominent thing for todays world. Thus, thinking of helping the world with our raw ideas, we chose this challenge. In the course of development of this project, (we have tried to make it simplest) we didn't use any programing language or software. For its development we visited a nearby local community forest to have the study of present situation of different species of plants and animals there and came with some conclusions. There were challenges to the large extent, which may start with selecting the appropriate challenge, team formation, developing innovate ideas, compressing ideas, time management, proper use of available data and resources and many more. But the most important part was to cope up with. We learnt team work, co-ordination, time management, use of appropriate data, and moreover have or present some innovative solutions to the given challenge. As a result of which, we came up with this project.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

It was quite challenging to look for, find out and use the appropriate data. However, we managed to use the data provided by different sources or different space agencies. Mostly, we have used NASA Observatory's data to deal with the given challenge and to present our solution, how those data can be helpful for further study, research and finding a better solution for different challenges.
