Nuestro proyecto aprovechará la información proporcionada por los satélites de la NASA para obtener una predicción sobre la distribución de las especies marinas. Con ello, desarrollaremos una red de sensores submarinos basados en tecnología ALL para monitorear y obtener información de las especies marinas que habitan en zonas abisales, que se recopilará en una red para su posterior análisis.

Greetings to everyone!

This team, as how its motto tells, is going to focus on abysmal life.

We thought it would be a fun thing to do, since there is little to almost none information on these creatures. They are quite peculiar to study too!

Now we get to the interesting part. How in the world are we going to do it?

Well, here is what we came up with.

First of all, huge thanks to the information provided by NASA sattelites.

Now that we have an overall sattelital picture of the places with the trenches, we went deeper, literally deeper.

Next, we will thoroughly analyze the gathered data to come up with just the right place where the second phase of this project will take place.

We are planning on putting afloat some little fish-like (shape yet to be determined) sensors with cameras that will allow us to monitor deep-down-sea species. We plan on using technology very similiar to the one employed by the sharks (their lateral line).

Once this little sensor gathers some information it will be sent to a network where the information can be analyzed.

Further on, this will help the neuronal network to predict any changes within the deep sea population.
