Summary
Given the high amount of data, we can create automated predictions of animal migration
How We Addressed This Challenge
We are not only observing the data, we use it wisely to create predictions on animal migration time and routes. By knowing in advance the date and migration direction, damages to plantations/construction sites/communities can be avoided in time by changing their trajectory or removing the obstacles. NGOs, Research Centers and Corporations are the main solution beneficiaries.
How We Developed This Project
We conducted research for existing animal tracking solutions and we found a gap in how the info is being processed. We came up with the idea of an AI software tool that could predict animal movement and save a lot of time and money for the customer.
For design we used Figma, Rhino 3D. For software development - Python, Django, React, AWS.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used the logged data for creating a correlation between weather and migration patterns.
