Our challenge is a new way of mapping the population, settlements, types of infrastructure. This data will have to be made available in a practical and easy to understand way, targeting different audiences, who want to consult the data for their region.

They were used to obtain meteorological data and histories, making it possible to mitigate damage and alert the population to the possible damage caused by floods. ArcGis
Solution made available to teams to create interactive maps using data from open source banks.
How We Developed This Project
We developed the project based on the data made available by Space Apps 2020 and made an interactive map, where the competent population and body can visualize the areas at risk of possible floods.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We use the Meteomatics Weather APIs for meteorological information about Curitiba, and ArcGIS to return interactive maps to us to cross with the information taken from the APIs.
Project Demo
Our solution consists of crossing data obtained through ArcGIS maps, weather forecasting data from the Meteomatics Weather API and HG Wheather.
These data give us an estimate of risk areas, which will generate alerts for the population that lives there.
