I developed an android application that helps to decrease the cases of COVID-19 by decreasing gathering people in closed places. Closed places such as supermarkets and shops are the main reason to spread COVID 19 in the world as Supermarkets or Services places. In the world, there are more than 32 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 990,576 deaths, reported to WHO. In some countries such as the United States has a huge number of cases of COVID-19 as there more than 7 million cases, and in Egypt, there are more than 100 thousand cases. This disease spreads by humans in closed places without masks. For example, in Egypt, there are more than 3 million closed places which the people gathering on it. The closed places, we cannot dispense it in real life. The foods, medicine, new phones, and our clothes we get from closed places such as shops or supermarkets on another hand maybe it will be a reason for the spread of COVID-19. A solution was decided to make an android application helping in decreasing the cases of COVID-19 by decreasing a gathering in closed places by people. This app depends on communication between people. The idea of this app is to decrease the number of people in a closed place such as a supermarket, and shops, etc. The application will be installed by residents of residential compounds (Residential compound means more than one Residential building).
all residents of residential compounds will make an account on this app and all of them will be put in the same domain. When one goes to any close place such as supermarkets or shops, he will open the app (after he registers on the app) and he will open the google map on the app, the app will specify his location by GPS. Google map will make all places around him will appear, after that, the user will choose the location which he will go to it and the app will draw a line between his location according to GPS and the location which he selected and all users in the Residential compound will be notified by the app about the location which user selected it. After that, if any user wants to buy anything from this location, he will go to the chat in the app and tell him what he wants. The first user who chooses the location will get what he needs and what the residents of residential compounds need. So, it helped to decrease the cases of COVID-19 by decreasing a gathering in closed places by people.
What inspired your team to choose this challenge?

The foods, medicine, new phones, and our clothes we get from closed places such as shops or supermarkets on another hand maybe it will be a reason for the spread of COVID-19. Also, on 6 Feb, there is a Korean lady in South Korea who has a car accident. After that, she went to the hospital and the symptoms of high temperature (Covid-19) so the doctors advised her on 15 Feb do the check for coronavirus, She did it on 17 Feb and the results said she infected with COVID-19 and she had a 31 number for infected cases in South Korea. During this period, she went to closed places such as supermarket, cafes, and restaurant according to this she was the responsible for two largest focus area which infected with COVID-19 and these two areas represent 80% of the cases which infected with this disease. If a solution to this challenge is found, we can decrease the number of people in closed places according to this we can eliminate Covid-19.

Use technology to solve this problem (System Software).
What tools, coding languages, hardware, the software did you use to develop your project?
1- platform: Android studio.
2- language: Java.
3- Others: Firebase (Authentication, CloudFireStore ), and Cloud API.
What problems and achievements did your team have?
Missing support because I needed to make a billing account to get google services, and the billing account required a credit card and I cannot make a credit card. So, I solved this problem by changing the coding. If I use Google services, The App will be better.
My project depends on to make an application that helped to decrease cases of COVID-19 by decreasing gathering people in closed places. So, I needed to collect data about the number of cases of COVID-19 and the amount of congestion in closed places, and the relation between them, furthermore, I needed to collect data about the number of closed places and the principle of urban congestion, closed places congestion, and traffic congestion. So, I needed scientific and trusted sources such as Nasa, CSA, CNES, JAXA, etc.
