Sleep loss and fatigue may lead to reduced performance and an increased risk to safety during many activities, including spaceflight. Your challenge is to develop an operational sleep shift scheduling tool that provides autonomous customization of a schedule for sleep, exercise, and nutrition to manage fatigue.

Morpheus Plus

Summary

The project “Morpheus Plus” is a scientific study that aims to stabilize the physical and mental health of an astronaut working at the optimum level .Considering the biological structures and preferences of astronauts, it is aimed to program and integrate the most important factors affecting the performance of the individual such as lighting systems, sleep time tables, daily exercise times and nutrition programs, on a smart watch.In addition, the use of circadia leds and the monitoring of the astronaut's sleep efficiency and providing the amount of light that should be taken daily are among the goals of the project.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed an integrated working smartwatch and app which are also connected to circadia leds. It important to use ciradia leds due to solve alertness problems and to arrange sleep shifts easily. Circadian leds are working like sun and sun light . In early times of a day it treats like sun rising which feels astronaut just like he or she woke up in a normal earth day . It same in the afternnons and sleep times. for example, before sleep times these led lows their lux an make an ambition like sunset. We hope to make sleep shifts easily higher its quality by using these leds.

How We Developed This Project

What inspired our team is , when we saw the challenge we realized that there are people around us got info about people's mind and their sleep welness so picking this challenge was a better option for us due to our resources. We firstly, made a brainstorm and think what's important for our sleep quality, the first thing that came our mind is lights so we decided to make an updates in lights, and also we think that if we can make a stopwatch and connected each other , we can also catch astronauts health stats.which contains food tracker and traning measurer inside it. The main thing about the watch is it controlls led which we use by bluetooth conection easily so no one needs to lower or higher led manually. We draw this watch on solidworks and made the app with android app developer. The main problem was , we couldn't reach the articles about sleep routines and training first. but a nasa attendant (Pamela Baskin) helped us about it.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used GoDaddy and Google Cloud offers. Used GoDaddy to in order to take an internet sited domain. and Google Cloud to take an cloud territory.
