Describe how your project adresses this challenge:
We developed an idea which device that can connect to our phone app, and allow us to schedule our sleeping time. At the same time the app will connect to the GPS, and time, while we travel, to understand our activities and analyse sleep efficiency. The device is an eye pad, that shapes like a sunglass, had a tiny speaker build in at the end of the temples. It is lightweighted and thin. This device glows dimly in red to assist sleeping, while the tiny speakers, play theta/delta sounds to assist sleeping. The speaker can play other musics if connected go musical apps. This device and SAS co-exist, in order to help user to sleeping better, analyse their sleeping pattern, and help them to plan their sleep schedule.
Describe how you develope:
Many of our friends has troubles in sleeping, and we believe that sleep is needed by everyone, so it a problem that facex ny the entire world, and we wanna help the whole world fpr the better. We have done certain readings on this matter since young, like sleep deprivation, insomnia, stress, caffeine's impact on sleep, hyperactivity, brain activity, acoustical effect on sleeping and many more. So we though of incorporating few elements into this projects. We used Solidworks in drawing the main prototype. One of the problem we faced was the rigidity of the SAD, because of the design we initially had, the user won't be able to sleep face down, or side way. Another problem is that, the SAD has to be strapped by an elastic strap to prevent it falling off. But we came up with an idea of making it thinner, and made of mostly on rubber to reduce rigidity, and allow more flexibility for us to sleep. Another idea is to cover the led lights in cotton and cloths to cushion it for better comfort as eye pad for the users, but this idea is hard for the LED to penetrate through, which led to putting trapsparent slimes into the eye pad, with plastic to contain it. This methods can help reduce the rigidity of the LED lights, but the tiny speakers will have difficulty to accommodate.
The Nasa data sets supported and validated our project. For example the importance of optimization of light control, and optimising astraunut medication.
