Sleep Shift Scheduling Tool

Sleep loss and fatigue may lead to reduced performance and an increased risk to safety during many activities, including spaceflight. Your challenge is to develop an operational sleep shift scheduling tool that provides autonomous customization of a schedule for sleep, exercise, and nutrition to manage fatigue.

Malintala

Summary

Malintala: An app that guides astronauts with sleep schedules, daily exercise routines, and food intake. The sleep menu has a timer of 8 hrs which is the recommended length of sleep for full performance. It will also notify the astronaut that he had completed the time. If he wakes up, he may choose if he wants to continue to sleep or to play music to help him improve his sleep. It also provides daily exercise guidelines for the astronaut to follow. Having a balanced, nutritious diet is important to help counteract spaceflight effects. It features an own meal setup or a prepared 7-day meal plan which has the recommended calorie intake.
