Sleeping: PSSST helps the user plan his sleep pattern depending on his daily tasks. It takes into account sleeping phases and makes sure that the quality of the sleep is healthy. As time passes, traveling becomes more of a common practice, and with it, the jet lag effect becomes more significant. The app will make sure to slowly - or rapidly - get rid of the effect and return the user to their natural circadian rhythm.
Nutrition: PSSST assists the user in controlling the nutrition. The app tracks the calorie intake and, according to personal characteristics, recommends the most optimal calorie consumption. It also takes into account the amount of calories that have been burnt during certain physical exercises.
Workout: The app helps the user generate the most optimal workout routine, makes sure to notify the user to stick to the plan and tweaks the routine according to the progress achieved by the user.
Additionally, by indicating medication intake, the user will get notification when it will be time to take the meds.
Sleep deprivation is one of the biggest problems of today's society. People, especially in this field, struggle to keep up with daily tasks. Our app helps the user plan the day as optimally as possible. We used existing scientific data to come up with the most favorable outcomes. The app is being developed on iOS using Swift as the main programming language. The biggest problem that we have faced throughout the hackathon was that the whole process was online. One of the most useful things that we have achieved was developing great team-working skills.
While creating the app, we did not take the luminosity levels into account. This article provided by NASA gave us knowledge which we then used in our app:
