Sleep Shift Scheduling Tool

Sleep loss and fatigue may lead to reduced performance and an increased risk to safety during many activities, including spaceflight. Your challenge is to develop an operational sleep shift scheduling tool that provides autonomous customization of a schedule for sleep, exercise, and nutrition to manage fatigue.

Space Alarm

Summary

The space alarm application is called (the alarm) because it helps the astronauts during their journey in organizing the tasks to be a successful flight, in the space alert team we created an application that allows astronauts to organize the day between sleeping, eating and tasks in the vehicle, where the application does the following: First, the astronaut records His data and then record the tasks imposed on him during his day, and the application allows him to choose the time according to the location in space and there will always be the timing of our planet next to the screen and it alerts him by calling him and issuing an alarm and talking to them and telling them what they are doing.

How We Addressed This Challenge

As it exists in the possibilities of solutions to this challenge, we chose to do an application and develop it. This application is simple, but it has new modifications and makes the system easier for astronauts. This development lies in the team’s ability to adjust the application to the timing of different planets and other galaxies in order to make The astronaut is able to determine the time and mission according to his location and the ability of the application to talk to the astronaut, get to know him, call me, and tell the astronaut what to do as if he were a human to me and not an application. This application is important because a problem like this will cause a major defect in the flight because of the disorganization, there will be a lack of order in sleeping and eating, and this will affect the health of the astronauts and reduce their abilities to carry out the tasks destined for them and this will lead to the failure of the space flight (Mission) Therefore, it is important to regulate the life of the astronauts during the entire trip, and this will help in organizing their health and the efficiency of their work. This application takes the data, tasks and the location that the astronaut chooses and then organizes the time of the astronaut on the basis of this evidence and informs him of each mission He must do the dates of food, sleep and sports. How does this app work? This application records the astronaut's data, then the astronaut selects the location, then the application determines the time, then the astronaut determines the tasks that he will perform if something is repaired in the spacecraft or search samples and so on, then it determines the type of healthy food required and when lunch And dinner and breakfast, then set the date for practicing the sport, then the application records data and works on it, and the application is able to speak with the astronauts and call them by their names and tell them about the mission and what they do during the issuance of the warning. We would like to develop the application in the future by making it work on a human being instead of a special screen on the space shuttle.

How We Developed This Project

As we know that there is difficulty in organizing the mission and sleep for astronauts, as the number of astronauts will increase in future flights.

This will cause an obstacle in bedtime and thus the astronauts' body will be relaxed due to disorganization.

Therefore, the team decided to help solve this problem by creating an application that helps astronauts organize the day according to what they specify during their day on the application

As it is possible for one to sleep and another to do the tasks and another to eat, and so on, and this will be done by the fact that each major will define his tasks

and the time in which he wants to sleep and eat and this time is not the same with the rest of the pioneers so that there is no defect in their organizing their time and the mission succeeds.

In this project (application) we used the kotlin language and the android studio program to make the application. The problem we faced as a team was collecting some data

Such as the time difference between each planet and the planet Earth and neighboring galaxies, but we overcome this problem and were able to collect all the data required for use in the application.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We searched ESA and JAXA for more information about our challenge and any previous solutions. We watched kotlin videos and Android studio videos.

And we watched some videos from the NASA website and National Geographic channel videos about the space flight system inside the space shuttle. We used data from the given NASA agency in the challenge. We saw many websites (.org, .com). And all this information helped us to get to know the challenge more and our reason to create this idea and develop it by adding the time difference between the planets and making each pioneer a specific system at a different time so that no defect occurs and the videos outside NASA and its partners helped us to know the application programming language and how it works.
