What we developed is a sleep scheduling tool that allows astronauts, pilots, and flight attendants that addresses their issues with fatigue. The application is designed to encourage sleep, exercise, and meal times to the user by notifying them. The user has the liberty to input their entries in the application through a schedule feature that they can modify. This notifies them whenever they need to eat, sleep, exercise, or do work.
What inspired us to take up the challenge is the fact that we are still college students. We have had many nights where we lacked sleep in order to keep up with the demands of our professors, so we are no strangers to sleep depravation. We developed the concept interface using figma, and we developed the code through JavaScript, using the ReactNative framework. The problems that the team faced included the difficulty curve of the challenge. We are still novices when it comes to the programming language that was used. The achievement was that we were able to make progress nonetheless.
We used the resources that were provided in the bootcamp as reference.
