The application would have a dynamic background that emulates the sky as seen from the ground, and changes during the day to complement the lights of the ship with a visual reference (the sun rises from the "east" and sets at sunset, and the moon shows the phase it is in that night).
The graphical interface is simple and intuitive to reduce user effort and optimize time, providing the necessary feedback only takes a couple of minutes at the beginning and end of day. This will give the program the required data to become smarter and adjust to the user's needs.
The application has a virtual assistant to interact to obtain information without having to look for it: for example requesting a specific time, asking about the meals of the day, etc. The assistant has room to grow: based on the first tests with CIRCADIAN, different functionalities could be added to it in future stages of application development.
In turn, the app would interact with existing technology such as smartwatch, actigraphy and ergonomic equipment. It would also connect with NASA through the cloud so that based on what AI learns, interdisciplinary teams could adjust personalized meal schedules and exercise routines.
CIRCADIAN could also be used by people with jet lag, the user could enter their own exercise or eating routines, and sleep monitoring would be done with more basic controls (for example by activating the microphone to record snoring). The rest of the functionalities could be used in the same way.

We talk about other applications, to have a base:
Application that unifies information on sleep, eating and exercise cycles to optimize energy and productivity.
Things to keep in mind:
-REM cycles and how it is important to wake up in the light sleep stage.
-Food and amount of liquid ingested, and spam of time between this and bedtime.
-Find the optimal amount of sleep hours for each user.
-What kind of exercise do you do, how long and spam of time between that and bedtime.
-Sleep Aids (such as music, white noise or others according to user preference).
-Medication and caffeine consumed and how that affects the quality of sleep.
-Blue light to activate the metabolism.
Idea that arose: taking into account that in Uruguay the consumption of marijuana is legal, we can also take into account therapies derived from CBD as a differential to suggest that other countries will not have it.

One of the studies we saw:
In the last year we completed our hospital studies ahead of schedule. We also implemented a novel infrared reflectance oculography technology in this protocol to detect fatigue and collected data on eye movements in n = 30 participants during periods of prolonged wakefulness. We have completed analysis of the melatonin trial results and are continuing with sleep analysis, alertness, performance tests, and eye movement data; we are also preparing results manuscripts.
We comment on:
Guide the user to adjust their circadian rhythm.
Feedback to ask the user: mood, energy level, concentration, stress, productivity, digestion, pain, social. The different factors that are needed for the application to be created such as the information provided by NASA, that provided by the user and that collected by the application.
