NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE BENIN CITY, NIGERIA 2020 👋
NASA Space Apps Benin city teams invite and welcome you to its 9th edition of the 2020 annual space Hackathon, taking place between the 2 - 4th October 2020.
What is NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE?
NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
What To Expect
Participants will use NASA's data to create solutions to the challenges specified for this hackathon. Challenges will open near the date of the event, and participants will join teams, or bring their own teams to work towards the solutions. Challenges will be chosen on the day of the event by the teams. We will have one whole day of coding, and one day for a presentation pitching contest, where a jury will decide who will qualify for the global competition. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Space hackathon will be a virtual event.
