Who can participate? Anyone from students, programmers, technologists and scientists to designers, entrepreneurs, and artists. Note: Under 12s must have a parent or guardian sign up with them.
What are the challenges? There are 7 challenge categories spanning issues on Earth and in space. For more info see https://2020.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges/
What do I need to do? Register now (space is limited) find a team and pick a project and then spend as much time as possible building your solution and preparing your presentation.
Can I make my team beforehand: Yes. Form a group but register individually. We will let you know where you can go to meet prospective team members online.
How much does it cost: It’s free!
When: The event will run online from Friday 2nd October (welcome and getting ready) through to 11.59pm on Sunday 4th October. With the lockdown and travel restrictions, this will be a fully virtual event, and we will have resources available to support everyone virtually!

Friday, October 2nd
The Melbourne Local Leads are hosting a "Welcome, tips and team formation" session on Zoom.
Zoom link will be shared in SpaceApps Messages at 1pm on 2 Oct 2020.
All Melbourne registrants are invited to join but this session is not mandatory.
Forming Teams
Those already in teams can drop off after Welcome and tips.
People that need help with team formation should send through their preferred challenges by 12pm 2 Oct, to assist with matching.
