◆Debris Fishing

challenge
Orbital Sky
Project Title
Debris Fishing
demo movie
Summary
A huge number of satellites in Earth's orbit support our day-to-day life on the ground. However, satellites are constantly under the threat of space debris. We have made it possible for people to learn about the threat of space debris through the experience of fishing, comparing space debris floating in space to fish in the ocean.
How I Addressed This Challenge
Space debris is increasing year by year, and satellites are constantly under the threat of space debris. We have developed a system that allows us to learn about the threat of space debris through the experience of fishing, comparing space debris floating in space to fish in the ocean.

summary
We worked to solve the problem of not being able to get medicines even if we went to a pharmacy because there were not enough medicines in Tanzania.
When I talked to Tanzania, it was said that it would take an average of 3 pharmacies to get one medicine, and the transportation cost would be close to $ 10.
It was because I didn't know if there was a drug in the pharmacy I went to, and I was looking for a drug in the pharmacy in the form of gambling.
However, since Tanzania did not have the concept of inventory management, it was not a simple problem that pharmacies should manage inventory.
In order to solve such a problem, we considered a mechanism for the delivery staff to deliver the medicine from the pharmacy to the customer through the app.
In addition, by combining the information acquired in it and the atmospheric information and pollen information acquired from satellites, we have established a foundation that enables demand forecasting and analysis of drugs.
Regardless of Tanzania, we will solve this real problem occurring in poor areas with the power of technology.
How I Addressed This Challenge
Until now, customers have visited many pharmacies in order to get the medicine, aiming for the pharmacy that has the medicine they want.
Customers will be able to order medicine from home by using this app. Select the medicine you want and send a purchase request to the pharmacy through your smartphone. Then, a purchase request for the corresponding product will be sent to each pharmacy.
The pharmacy will approve the purchase request if you have the item. This completes the sale.
After that, the delivery person just carries the product from the pharmacy to the customer's place.
In addition, we will combine the data from this transaction with hygiene data to forecast drug demand and analyze demand. By providing this data to pharmacies and drug manufacturers, pharmacies can optimize the number of orders and drug manufacturers can optimize the number of production.
how we developed our project
We created a system for continuous development using GitHub.
Tasks were done in kanban format using trello.
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used two services, mapbox and OpenWeather.
We believe that by combining satellite information such as weather with information on orders for medicine sales, we will be able to correlate medicine and weather.
We also believe that we will be able to analyze the demand for medicines from health information that we don't currently have.
