Samborondón, Guayas

Ecuador

For the second year in a row, we're happy to host the Space Apps Challenge hackathon in Samborondón-Guayas, together with NASA!

In the light of the pandemic, we invite the Samborondón community to join in a 100% remote global hack-a-thon! We continue to give participants the opportunity to connect to others with diverse backgrounds, talents and areas of expertise (programmers, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, communicators, artists, engineers and technology enthusiasts) to solve challenges presented by NASA. From October 2 to 4, over a 48-hour period, participants will come together to create virtual teams and solve challenges using NASA's open source platform. While some of our challenges are technical, others ask you to use your artistic skills, your business acumen, and your imagination. In other words, you don't have to be a coder or data expert to be part of Space Apps. In fact, the most diverse teams are usually the most successful!

Registration is free of charge and it doesn't matter what you do or what you study. The only requirement to participate is that you are at least 13 years old. Everyone has something to contribute, and we need your help to make the project as complex and multidisciplinary as possible. Dare to participate! You can participate individually, although with a team you will achieve more. You can now build your group, which must be made up of 2 to 6 members.
