It's NASA's hackathon in the city that unites tech and space!

We are organizing a great virtual event with lots of support from expereienced virtual event organizers. We'll provide mentors and face-to-face meetings to assist you & your team with building cool stuff!

  • You love hardware. Yes! Hardware projects welcome - Space Apps is more than “apps”! Grab your favorite board and dream up a solution for Earth or your own mission in space.

  1. Kickoff Zoom Call

    Join us as we kickoff the 2020 NASA Space Apps Challenge here in Seattle!  We'll start at 6:00 PM sharp, so please be on time!

Saturday, October 3rd
  1. Saturday Morning Wake-up Call

    30-min sync to start the day & get any questions answered. Spend the rest of the day working on your project!

  2. Saturday Night Sync

    30-min call to review the day's progress, get questions answered and deal with any issues. Stick around for "240 Seconds of Glory" your guide to making a perfect Space Apps presentation.

Sunday, October 4th
  1. Sunday Morning Wake-up Call

    30-min sync to start the day & get any questions answered. Start practicing your presentations!

  2. Presentations start

    Each team will get 4 minutes to present with 1 minute for questions from our judges. Make your time count!

  3. Closing ceremonies

    Be sure to have your projects fully submitted by 11:59 pm. Judging results will be announced October 12!
