What are the challenges? There are 7 challenge categories on the theme of "Take Action". For more information, visit: https://2020.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges/
When is the event? The event will run from Friday 2 October - Sunday 4 October. A Virtual Bootcamp will be run ahead of the event too.
Where is the event? This year's event will be completely online, with no in-person meet-ups.
Who can participate? Absolutely anyone! You don't even need to know how to code. Up to 6 people can join the same team.
How much does it cost? It’s 100% free!
What do I need to do?

- Confirm your team on this website.
- Attend the Virtual Bootcamp to better understand the competition.
- Work with your team to create your app over the 2-day hackathon.
- Submit your app and see if you win any prizes!
How do I make a team? The only rule about teams is that they cannot exceed 6 members. You can form teams with your friends, colleagues or other people online. If you're an individual looking to join a team or a smaller team seeking more members, head to the Discord server for assistance finding local teammates.

About Southampton Spaceflight (SUSF)

Since our first high altitude balloon launch in 2012 - originally as part of the Physics Outreach group - SUSF has been dedicated to making space more accessible to everyone.
In the years following, Spaceflight Society has continued to expand, adding rockets, satellites and rovers to our repertoire of projects. One of the University of Southampton’s longest-running and most successful engineering societies, we welcome members from all backgrounds.
