Virtual Planetary Exploration

Summary

OUR TEAM-“DSJ23”, WHICH HAS PARTICIPATED IN THE NASA SPACE APPS CHALLLENGE 2020 HAS TAKEN UP THE CHALLENGE-“VIRTUAL PLANETARY EXPLORATION” UNDER THE CATEGORY-“CREATE”. WE HAVE DESIGNED 3D MODELS OF VARIOUS PLANETARY GEOLOGICAL TOOLS USED BY ASTRONAUTS/SPACE EXPLORERS. The models we made are:-1.Thumper Geophone2.Scoop3.Sample Container4.Freiberger's Compass5.Multipurpose Precision Tool6.Stellar Camera7.Penetrometer8.Hammer9.Extractor

How We Addressed This Challenge

We made 3d models of tools that are/can be used in exploration.

How We Developed This Project

We used Sketchup to make the models and then integrated them to our website

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

Our projects is solely based on the resources provided in the resource bar
