Virtual Planetary Exploration

Your challenge is to create interactive 3D models of equipment (e.g., planetary geology tools) that future space explorers can use for activities like exploring a planetary surface.

Intelligent System for Analyzing New Terrains with Integrated Lander-Based Rovers

Summary

The goal of our project was to utilize the possible improvements in area of researching extraterrestrial terrains. For this purpose we designed a cheap rover and also a lander which the rover can use it for protection, enhanced battery storage and a base for a small drone. We named this new concept as Lander-Based Rover. Additionally, we made another concept for a whole system of many rovers that are interconnected. This system can be used in different areas on Earth, such as: mines, archaeological localities and remote places. This provides an opportunity to implement the system in a business model with potential clients such as space and mining companies, geoscience organizations etc.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed: Lander-Based Rovers that are interconnected in an intelligent system.

It is important for different researching activities by using various tools.

We hope to achieve better understanding of our universe and our planet.

How We Developed This Project

We were inspired by the latest researches of the space organizations and companies.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We did not used any space agency data in our project.
