Virtual Planetary Exploration

Your challenge is to create interactive 3D models of equipment (e.g., planetary geology tools) that future space explorers can use for activities like exploring a planetary surface.

TookTube

Summary

The TookTube — is a unique technology in the exploration of planets and material harvest. The process is accomplished by launching spacecraft on the thermosphere of a certain planet which is to be observed. The spacecraft will be falling under the gravitational pole of a planet and will save a sufficient distance. The tube will be led to the outer atmosphere. The tube will be made of nanocarbon tubes. Its tensile strength is 10 GPa - 60 GPa that is sufficient to work effectively under harsh environments of certain planets. The Spacecraft will retain its speed by fulfilling its energy reserves with materials taken from planets, such as helium and regolith.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We have developed an incredible invention that will help explorers to dissect the planets with harsh environments. It is important, because it will give us an opportunity to get deeper knowledge of planets construction as well as its geological nature. The Took Tube works by entering the outer atmosphere and investigating the biological, geological nature of a planet with help of optical, robotic and vacuum technologies. We hope to get broader of our scope and begin to start large-scare observations of planets out of our galaxy

How We Developed This Project

We are space enthusiasts who are haunted by intellectual curiosity and passion for space exploration. We know about the existence of planets but do not know exactly about their structure (geology). For example, we know about the existence of ice gas giants and, based on numerous studies, have suggested that the specific blue color mainly depends on the methane of which Uranus and Neptune are composed and which in turn absorb the red length of the spectrum of the rays, thereby producing blue color. However, we cannot say exactly what the planet consists of until we collect samples from the atmosphere or surface of the planet.

P/S: We have mistaken with CAD programm, due to our 3D model not supported by the hosting

We have chosen Cinema4D; Our file's format is .gltf, we had some problems with converting .gltf to .obg
