This project addresses the step of rising water in coastal cities and protecting people from the dangers of floods that cause human losses: as floods kill and displace hundreds of thousands of people annually and also include material losses such as the destruction of buildings, roads, vital installations, and bridges, in addition to causing urban areas to be buried with huge quantities of silt and rubble. This is carried by the flood on its way, the destruction of green cover, and the threat to food security: the destruction of agricultural lands leads to a lack of food quantities and thus threatens the food security of people. Cutting off clean water supplies, destroying sewage networks, and cutting off energy supplies: This leads to outbreaks of some infectious bacterial diseases as a result of survivors' ingestion of contaminated water in addition to their damage to walking through pools of water contaminated with wastewater, and with the absence of energy sources, it is not possible to sterilize drinking water by boiling, for example. In addition to the above, the long-term necessity of flooding is often devastating, as some serious infectious diseases, such as cholera, may also spread. We know, of course, the damages and effects of floods and what can result from them after their occurrences, such as the destruction of coastal cities, the sinking of some beaches, and the damage to some people, and to overcome all these effects and outcomes, we have worked to solve all these problems, which will help us anticipate the occurrence of floods in a region. The idea is that we save the people who are living in coastal cities from the rising water(floods) , which can drown entire cities. So, we will use an acrylic box, and this box will be connected by wires to an Arduino microcontroller board and another device sensitive to the Arduino( ultrasonic sensor). These devices will be tuned to measure the water whenever it rises above sea level. When this happens, the sensitive device will then send a signal to an application , which people can install on their phones. Therefore, when the water rises to sea level, everyone will receive a notification informing them of this. Suppose, for example, that the water rose three meters--then, people will be able to take any precautions in case the rise of the water was significant. Additionally, we will need to use radio beams and Wi-Fi module that connected with the satellite, so we can have the Wi-Fi companies operate and implement this. As such, this is a good project idea for these companies as well as the coastal cities.
