• Summary of the Virus Finder project

Virus Finder is a technology whose main purpose is to detect viruses in the surroundings and to give alerts along with useful recommendations. As we all know, the news this year was marked all along with the Coronavirus pandemic which caused a lot of damage including several an uncountable number of deaths. This was mainly due to the fact that it was not quickly under control and the death toll kept increasing because it was not early detected, and hence the citizens had no way of knowing the places where virus samples are found.

To solve this problem, we have developed Virus Finder, a program based on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Augmented Reality (AR) ‘s combinaison that will be equipped with sensors that can detect and analyze electromagnetic waves emitted by viruses.

• How does it work ?

Virus Finder will be incorporated into any digital device such as watches, smartphones, glasses, helmets etc. In the presence of a potential virus carrier, Virus Finder’s sensors come into play, capture the electromagnetic waves emitted by the viruses, analyze them and quickly send an alert at the nearest healthcare center. A mobile application will be connected to Virus Finder and thanks to geolocation tools, on a tracking-based system, notifications will be sent to people in the immediate neighborhood of the virus, followed up with safety recommendations. The potential exposed users will be admitted to special cares and everyone else could be safe, by following our recommendation system.

NB: Virus Finder was designed based on the case of the SARS COV2 virus, responsible for the coronavirus. But since all viruses emit waves, our greatest wish is to design an efficient system that could real-time detect any type of virus.
