The proposed solution contains features such as,
•Nasa global imaginary is used by mapping the Nasa world wind.
•Geo location where Covid 19 is spread.
•Monitoring wind speed and density.
•Monitoring the vegetation
•Monitoring Fire data and displaying if any fire has taken place,
•Monitoring Carbon Emission
•Monitoring the Air Quality data
•Monitoring the deforestation process taken place around the globe.
•Monitoring the water bodies and ice glaciers
•Monitors the thickness of the ozone layer.
•Monitors hazards and disasters such as
oearth quacks
ohurricanes
oSandstorm
oWildfire
oFloods
oVolcanic actives
•Displays the user pinpointed locations, temperature, humidity air quality.
Our group consisted of people who shared the same enthusiasm for space and planet exploration. This brought us to this competition and we chose this challenge as it was fun and exciting and as well as a great learning curve to research, learn and interact with real NASA data.
As to the approach we followed, we first brainstormed the potential data to be monitored and analyzed. Afterwards, the design aspect of the system was planned and designed. Finally, the prototype was implemented.
Software used were React, Github, Nodejs, Python.
Hardware used were Laptops and Desktops
Problems faced: Difficulty in understanding the data sources
Achievements: Successfully able to complete the targeted aim and gain knowledge.
In order to monitor the activities of our planet dataset regarding those factors were considered.
Both NASA and ESA was used in our project and helped to gain certain data that is required to completed the requirements of the project.
