With all the data sets and information available at our disposal, it can be difficult to figure out what data sets to use for a certain project or what specific information to pull out of them. Retriev intends to alleviate these stresses and make data gathering and visualization more intuitive and efficient. The application aims to simplify complex data so that aspiring scientists can also appreciate and explore with ease.
We mainly used Figma to build the mockup of our website and allow us to collaborate on the project despite the different timezones. We also used various sources such as unDraw, Pexels, and Flaticon for the graphics and pictures used. We utilized the collaborative aspect of code repositories so that the each team member can independently use their own offline resources (namely Bootstrap Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc.), as well as check on each other's progresses using a git repository (GitHub).

We would gather the data sets (specifically topics about earth science and meteorology) from NASA and/or their partner agencies and visualize them, making them more digestible for data scientists. We used popular sample data and their respective imagery for each agency as an example for our prototype.
