Summary
In order to create awareness about the sustainable goals, we created an app Which helps the people to know about the SDG goals and allows them to achieve the goals. It's was developed by 193 countries and when we achieve all the goals. Then every country in the world will be a developed country. So we try to help the peoples to achieve the goals and lead to the development of the country. It is the long list, however, that better represents the complexity of sustainable global development. For example, we go beyond targeting poverty and symptoms of poverty, which was the focus of the MDGs, to governance concerns that were overlooked by the MDGs, such as improving access to justice.
How We Addressed This Challenge
Our team has created an application called Eco Scouts. This application gives the description about each sustainable goal. This app has the logos of each goal which when clicked gives the desription and targets of that particular goal.
This creates an awareness among people about sustainability of the planet and its resources for the future generation.
How We Developed This Project
We chose this challenge to create awareness about sustainability of the planet among people. We created an application to achieve this. We have used Android Studio to develop our project. We have also used java to code. We faced a few difficulties like gradle sync and layout design. But we were ale to fix them and developed the application.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
Since we are totally new to space apps, we have tried to use the survey data from NASA. Our project is influenced from the data that NASA has provided to create awareness among people in wide range.
