Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generations
Tree Years Old!
Summary
Our project is entirely committed to helping people be aware of sustainability in today's era. Astrogold discussed that its important to brace ourselves in sustaining Earth for securing the lives of future generations. Addressing universal agenda of global warming, we brainstormed to create a web application that accounts its users' birthdays and notifies them on the day about barren lands present within 5 km radius. Each tree you plant multiplies with your age and gets added to what product you obtained on your last birthday. This leads each user to want to score the highest ultimately amplifying the no. of trees planted which has most necessarily sprouted as our solution -AFFORESTATION.
How We Addressed This Challenge
Sustainability is the immovable bridge when it comes to realistic and pragmatic approaches for any development. Keeping in mind that the earth has bestowed us with very limited natural resources but infinite compassion & love, we, Team Astrogold, thought of taking a leap and exploring the current problems that have rooked our planet and effectively finding the solutions to those existing problems. We believe the importance of the subject matter lies upon how we relay the message to people of all generation and effectively communicate with them, which we have never overlooked.
Firstly, We inscribed the burning issue of Air pollution all the way, took data from the NASA APIs and worked forward looking at where the air pollution level currently is and mapped our way so that every creature can breathe in safe, pure and pious air. Similarly, We dealt with the Ozone Layer Depletion over a few decades and made proposals so that we can be as eco friendly as possible. We possibly took data from the MLS, OMI and TOMS database available to us. We functionally collected our data about how ecosystem, biodiversity and vegetation are included under the calming cloak of sustainability and worked to make that graph ascend a steep height. Our project does cover how we understand global climate pattern and problems induced by water pollution and how we can find a common solutions to all these existing issues.
Our overall objective is , however, to find answers to the quest of sustainability and to effectively communicate our knowledge and understanding of the sustainable approach to the audience of all age. We came to conclusion that we can effectively communicate with our Youths and children with this innovative way so that they also learn about the sustainability leading our future into secure hands
How We Developed This Project
We basically thought that sustainability is the key which can in no way be overlooked if we want a better and realistic future tomorrow. Its much important to address this topic today because we can conduct all other experiments if and only if we have sustained our planet. We approached and shaped our project with NASA data and support from JAXA,CSA and Google to link in our essential items over our website.
We used Adobe After Effects & Flimora Pro for video edits.
We used Google Docs and Drive to assemble our data from researchers to scriptwriters.
We used free Domain to access a website and supported that by Porkbun as in the Github .
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
From NASA official data site, APIs and Other Trusted US Entity.
We took help from JAXA,CES and ESO to assist us.
From NASA's eyes and with help of Google Maps, we generated the idea of barren lands so that it can be tracked via GPS.
