Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generations

There is concern worldwide that environmental issues we face today will have an impact on future generations. Your challenge is to create a way to communicate the importance of environmental responsibility to people of all ages.

Is it possible to reduce the air pollution permanantly?Just by using calcium carbonate?

Summary

My project’s aim is to make breathing healthy again. By using a neutralization reaction we are able to improve air quality.Sulphur oxide (SOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2 ) react with calcium carbonate.Ca(OH)2 + CO2 will form CaCO3 + H2O.CaCO3 + H2SO4 will form CaSO4.2H2O + CO2.It will form carbon dioxide. With the first reaction, harmful impact of the carbon will be reduced. Carbon dioxide will simply solved by trees. To spread it, I developed a satellite based system that consist of 4 materials: satellite, air pollution sensors,a code, unmanned aircrafts. In conculision, we will use the satellites as manager that tells where priority is and then aircrafts will spread calcium carbonate.

How I Addressed This Challenge

My system is basically reducing acidity rate of air. System is satellite based hence air pollution sensors will send the data to the satellite, satellite will give feedback. According to that feedback aircrafts will spread calcium carbonate. It is important because the more we use this system the more we reduce the death rates due to air pollution. And I hope that our planet to be a more livable world.

How I Developed This Project

I have been thinking this project as an idea for 2 years. When I first saw the space apps challange project shaped in my mind. I thought that's what i am going to do. I really want to make this world sustainable and change it in good way with my ideas. It is like a dream for me and I beleive that Iwill make them come true one day.I am struggling to make my dreams come true.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

I am insipired by NASA's satellite based systems that are being used everywhere.
