Breathing Hope has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
Breathing Hope is a social network where you can interact with different environmentalists, making challenges and visualizing the impact that is left on the environment with real-time images provided by NASA.
In addition, allowing different companies to join together and meet environmental responsibilities.
Thanks to the environmental challenges that are presented in the social network, users will be able to create an impact in their communities, reduce the level of contamination, while there is an exchange of information, actions and contacts; We hope that our project will raise awareness around the world.
In search of references on what topic to cover as a challenge, we entered the official NASA website and observed something that impacted us, the vital signs of the planet; If the change doesn't happen now, what will happen to us? With that idea in mind, we chose to Sustain our planet for future generations.
In Costa Rica social networks such as Facebook are used more than 17% than in the rest of Latin America, the great use of social networks in this country and the rest of the world is a key to communication where you can raise your voice, voice of our planet.
For our team, there were problems in the development of the website and the knowledge we had about national information; however, as a team we were able to work on each issue and address them as best we could to achieve our challenge.

Use of NASA-provided APIs on: carbon dioxide, temperature, surface air temperature, land surface temperature, and sea surface temperature anomalies. These were included on our website and mobile application. People can visualize the problems of the environment, informing themselves and creating awareness about the evil that we are doing to planet earth; It is intended that through challenges are generated little by little the planet can improve and people can visualize it through maps.
Also allowing us to verify the effectiveness of the awareness created in users to improve the environment. Since if the ozone layer improves in an area it would demonstrate said effectiveness.
