Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generations

There is concern worldwide that environmental issues we face today will have an impact on future generations. Your challenge is to create a way to communicate the importance of environmental responsibility to people of all ages.

Alternative Way of Making Paper out of Recyclable Papers

Summary

Recycling is one of the eco-activities that have been aggressively promoted in recent years. Our study focuses more on the recycling of paper wastes and how it will help the environment. Recycled paper can be manufactured relatively easily, with end products competitive in quality to those made from raw materials. Some difficulties arise from the economics of collection and transportation of waste paper products to centers for reprocessing. In order to lessen the difficulties that may arise from it, we developed an alternative solution or method to recycle these paper wastes. We created a much simpler method that is not costly, more efficient, and can be also done in our homes.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed an alternative way on how to recycle paper wastes that is more efficient and simpler. It is important because it could help conserve the natural resources especially the trees in the forests. And this could reduce the amount of paper wastes people throw each day locally, nationally and internationally.

How We Developed This Project

We based our project to our team mate Desiry's experience on making home made papers using paper wastes.Although papers are biodegradable wastes still it would be better if we would recycle it so that we can lessen the demand on trees and to conserve the forests. This project of ours doesn't require any coding languages since we are not building a machine to recycle the papers, but it need the materials such as papers, container, water, paint, dry cloth, filter frame and paper making mold frame to complete the process.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used the data from NASA as our guide to improve our study. It influenced as to research and gain more knowledge in regards with our topic on how to make an alternative solution on recycling papers.
