Our project depends on justifying the problem of marine pollution and presenting some solutions through different ways. One way is to collect donations from large organizations having interests to our problem, and the other way is to work on our platforms presented in Facebook, Instagram, and twitter. In addition to presenting donations for organizations concerned with solving the problems and effects caused by marine pollution. Our project presents an effective plan for our social media platforms and the website that will reach our target audience and help treat and prevent this challenge become bigger.
We developed our project depending on scientific research from NASA resources and depending on the target audiences we have in our communities where our goal was to help treat the generational gap and find solutions that fit with both young generations as well as the older one. so we cared to present an effective content through our website and platforms for young generations as apps and games and for old generation, books and video documentaries. We used HTML, CSS, JS and Bootstrap 4 to develop our website. We used Facebook, Tweeter and Instagram as our social media to raise awareness for marine pollution and help getting volunteers. We used patreon in order to raise donations.
We used Nasa's data to provide us with fair idea about how the water pollution works and how it affects the marine life; It showed that the changes in climate and the human activities have managed to put many life forms in danger and has decreased the available food supply. It has been said that the ocean can provide food for 1 billion people on daily basis. But due to different types of pollution resources such as plastic disposal, oil leakage and wrong fishing has decreased and laid waste to the life forms. The resource we found helped us found many topics related to marine pollution such as: water acidification in terms of green house effect, plastic disposal in seas and oceans.
