Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generations

There is concern worldwide that environmental issues we face today will have an impact on future generations. Your challenge is to create a way to communicate the importance of environmental responsibility to people of all ages.

"I.M.P.A.C.T on people"

Summary

Here, we " IMPACT team" have come up with a solution of one of the rising challenge "sustaining a planet for future generation" as per the raising pollution, population, industrialisation etc. our healthy & blue planet earth is getting sick day by day. It is responsibility of each head of the globe to take care of earth. So we have decided to build a website which is reachable to each head of the globe and also started a petition to, not only enrich the website, but to also be updated about how many visitors we receive and how many follow us and are with us. It will inspire everyone to protect our planet via different news, memes, solutions and many more. It will connect people and nature.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We team IMPACT, aim to reach out for non-motivated people around the globe, to make them change their habits and bad behaviour, that goes excessively against our willingness to sustain planet Earth. Through our website, through technology, through PC’s, phones’, tablets’ displays, we believe we can reach as many people as we want. In fact, we MUST, because its importance, the importance of treating the environment well is fundamental, it actually defines, other than our futures, our PRESENT lives. Starting to take action, can really enhance our lives’ quality.

Because there’s no need to master technology, if we can reach teens, but also people in general, so easily.

How We Developed This Project

The process of the website building has been really hard for most of the us. There have been several issues with the programming and the applying of the domain. Here’s how we did it:

We programmed the website, using some programming experience and some help on the internet, which was really hard to find, but, after some days, we could finally build the homepage, and apply the domain. For us, as younger students with basically no experience in the programming websites field, it was difficult, but a good experience, to learn from. We then collected some NASA's and it's pattner agencies' datas and information about carbon emissions in the last two centuries, and providing terrific drawings and facts, that we posted on the website which were more like memes, that’ll surely help crucially to attract and influence teenagers, that, we hope, will visit our website. Afterwards, we started a petition on change.org, and posted it on our blog as well. So we can count how many people will follow us, and then we did a quick video about our targets and plans. All this was possible, because of our collaboration and mutual understanding. We look forward to post actual challenges, eventually with awards, and give advice to all the people that’ll email us through the website.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We (IMPACT) are the spreading awareness by sharing the information and facts to every people of the world through our website. the information and facts we provided on the website are derived form the data provided to us by NASA, CSA, CNES, JAXA etc. The references of the data we used are also submitted in this project. we did some research on the data provided by these agencies and concluded form of the data is published on our website which is motivating and inspiring people.
