Summary
This Project is Completely based on a rewarding System. The app reward with app points when the user posts a post in planting a tree or a plant or did some service to nature. This app never has a gallery select feature only live photographs are allowed to be posted. The trusted app users can vote on the image whether it contains some potentially harmful message or irrelevant to the Apps Terms and Conditions. Once the voting completes the user will be rewarded with points and featured at leaderboards. It also has a feature to add companies who can sponsor their offers here so when a user attains certain points the user can claim the offer.
How I Addressed This Challenge
As the theme states that 'Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generation' I have planned to solve Life on Land, The 15th SDG.
I developed an Social Media App which is based on a rewarding system. It rewards with points to users whenever the user plants a plant or do any kind of service to our nature.
It is important because today the deforestation has increased a lot and because of deforestation directly or indirectly we get a lot of environmental issues. So if people install this app at least because of the rewarding feature the user tries to post at least one image that they did some good to the nature.
This app collect only the 'live' image related to the user helping nature or any kind of such activities. The images will be put into voting by the users or admin of the database. Once the voting hits majority the image will be approved and the reward will be provided. If the voting has not met the required number then the post will be deleted and no points will be provided to the user.
How I Developed This Project
I am a person who loves nature to the farthest extinct and I am not able to bear this problem since it our future generation may not experience the nature. The idea of rewarding gave me a confidence that this app can reach everywhere. I used an tool named 'Sketchware' and used Visual Programming to complete the prototype.
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
I used https://climate.nasa.gov/ to use it for monitoring climate data in the dashboard and bring a kind of awareness among people.
