MİCRO PLASTİC FİLTER
Summary
Our goal is to reduce microplastics around the world. As much as it may seem like a minor problem, we have to move forward. It is in everywhere but right now,the biggest problem seems to be in water. Its not just seas and lakes, its the water we drink, so at least think about yourself,people! Anyway we tried to make a filter for the solution. It reduces microplastics and eliminates mesoplastics,makroplastics which are described as larger. We didnt experiment with what we called 'clean water.' We havent improved our product that much, but its ideal for enviroments with more microplastics. And this project can be improved.
How We Addressed This Challenge
As the NBC 2020 team, we have ensured that the damage to the environment is minimized. As for how we did this, we first made a detailed research and thought about our idea. However, you know that we could not be with our team due to the pandemic, so we did our best online. The biggest difference of this from the filters on the market is that it is produced from materials that everyone can find and contains recycled products.
How We Developed This Project
The most important reason we chose this project is to leave a much better world to future generations. and we developed this project with the belief of this. The materials we use are: bioball, fiber, biological filter sponge, waterfall apparatus, soap dispenser. And in this way, microplastics in water
we have filtered and purified. I believe that we can make big things in this world.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We saw that there is detailed research and information on microplastics on the NASA site, and we decided to develop our filter idea based on this.
