Summary
Our idea is to get people more involved and interested in keeping our planet clean and sustain it for future generations. It includes creating an app and building parks to encourage people to take action. The app will have an interactive interface that would be easily understandable by all age groups while the parks will have something for everyone to enjoy while conserving different species of plants and animals. We hope that the daily challenges conserning environmental problems that the app sends to the users will be fun and easy to complete for everyone.
How We Addressed This Challenge
Our idea is to develop an app that will give the opportunity for people to keep up with current ecological problems and actively report ones.
We intend our project to help raise awareness about those problems as they concern our home planet - the place where we and the future generations will live. It will encourage people to be more involved in keeping our surroundings clean by actively sending daily challenges that involve maintaining our environment pollution-free, etc. and be more concerned about the future of the Earth if they don't do something about the rising temperatures, sea levels and pollution. Our idea is to have users watch a short ad after completing every challenge to raise money for donation to different animal conservations, ecological causes and sustaining the parks.
The parks include a variety of facilities including a tea house, artificial rivers, flowerbeds and forest areas to conserve different species. They will accommodate everyone with various gazebos, benches and playgrounds.
It's important to take part in preserving our environment as much as we can and we hope we can send that message through our project. We believe that all of this can be achieved through hard work.
How We Developed This Project
We chose this challenge because we're concerned about the future of our home and we wanted to give some of our ideas to help sustain it. We used Microsoft PowerPoint to present the idea in great detail.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used information from climate.nasa.gov to gather enough information about the current ecological problems and used it to emphasise on the importance in solving them, We also used some images of the Earth from images.nasa.gov
