Recicla Urbann has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
We have developed a platform for condominiums and companies that generate electronic waste, with the purpose of providing guidance on waste separation and environmental education.
Each registered person will be highlighted on the page by means of a hanking, as shown in the publications and clicks for reading, as well as the correct disposal of waste.
There is gain of points, which makes the company or condominium highlight for the concern with the environment. Besides, they will have access to the mapping of selective collection points and connection with cooperatives and associations of recycled materials registered for the correct disposal.

We have identified the importance of creating this solution due to the gathering of research information:
We want to change the statistics in order to improve the environment and we seek the following results:
1. Support to cooperatives and associations of recyclable materials collectors;
2. Valorization of the work of collectors of recyclable materials;
3. Encouraging the habit of disposing of garbage in appropriate places;
4. Reduction of diseases and pollution.

We feel empathy for identifying that the problem of waste is daily in our routine, many people do not separate the waste and consumerism further increases the negative impact on the environment.
The Backend was developed in Java, using the Spring Framework, for database integration we use Spring Data JPA, the databases that were used H2 Database (development environment) and Postgre SQL (in production), for application documentation Swagger was used (through the Spring Fox dependency), the documentation of the endpoints and details about the data used in each request can be found at: https://reciclaurban.herokuapp.com/swagger-ui.html, the application was made available in the cloud through the Heroku platform (application is avaliable in reciclaurban.herokuapp.com/)
The application uses the Apache Tomcat server by default and in development environment Spring Dev Tools was also used, the dependency manager chosen was Apache Maven.
The frontend was develop in Wix platform, here we see content about recycle and informations about our company. With our API it is possible to carry out all the necessary CRUD operations within our platform, it is possible to create, list, update and delete cooperatives, residences and companies on the platform in addition to being able to create, read, update and delete tasks that are worth points (referring to appropriate disposal) that are attributed to these companies and residences.
