Stop Forest Fire has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
We developed a smart screen with CO2 tank. It is very important because it is smart and modern solution and it can be controlled remotely. This project working on saving forests from being destroyed. First, NASA satellite will scan the forest daily and send a live report to the fire station monitoring room. Second, smart screens with smoke (fire) sensor will be implanted on some trees among the forest and it will be connected to the control room at the station. These screens with sensors will measure the temperature, humidity and dryness rate and we choose these measurements because forest fire happens because of the global warming, high temperature, dryness, and lighting. Furthermore, the CO2 tank will be connected to the smart screen where the screen will send a request to the tank to rush out and extinguish the fire. It can put out the fire within 5m. Third, in the event that fire breaks out in the forest because of lightning for example, due to the lightning that struck the highest point on the surface of the earth which is the tree. Then the smart screen will send directly an alarm to the monitoring room in the station and at the same time it will operate the digital CO2 tank until the arrival of the firefighters. So by that way we save the majority of the forest and we saved firefighters time too. We hope That we can achieve our project by adding another tank for water so by that we have two sources to put out the fire.
We inspired this idea from what happened to the Australian forests last year. My approach to develop this project is use programmed smart screens worked by solar power (ecofriendly power source) and these screens will connect to the digital CO2 tank. We used so many tools to develop our project such as sketching papers, colors, Engineering tools, PicsArt application, and PowerPoint. Our team faced some difficulties in searching for people who lived the event there and saw how the fire broke out in the forests, so that we can find an innovative solution that meets their needs and helps them get rid of forest fires. On the other hand, our team has achieved a great achievement by coming up with this innovative and creative idea that meets the needs of the people who live near the forest and protects them from losing their possessions, and at the same time this idea helps protect animals and reduces pollution in the air caused by fire smoke.
We used CALIPSO the environmental satellite for NASA (USA) and CNES (France) as our space agency data. CALIPSO will scan the forest daily and it will send the a report to the monitoring room in the fire station to inform the firefighter and the environmental scientists who work there if there is something wrong going in the forest. Also it will give informational report about the climate, this is because climate is one of the reasons that forest fire happen and by climate we mean high temperatures.
