Summary
Based on the topic of 'SUSTAIN', my project 'Sustaining Our Planet For Future Generations' is based on the pressing environmental issues our earth is facing right now. Climate Change, Global Warming, Air and Marine Pollution and Deforestation have devastating impact on the living beings.With the increasing temperature and rising pollution and sea level there is an immediate need to work out a solution and save our earth before it becomes inhospitable.There are several ways to involve the the elderly and the youth in saving our planet Earth. First step is about raising awareness and highlighting the worsening condition of earth. You and I, we both have to come together and take action.
How I Addressed This Challenge
Based on the topic of 'SUSTAIN', my project 'Sustaining Our Planet For Future Generations' is based on the pressing environmental issues our earth is facing right now. The project has explained the dangerous life threatening effects of Climate Change, Global Warming, Air and Marine Pollution and Deforestation, their root causes, devastating effects on the life of living beings along with the detail statistics of their aftermath.
The project also highlights why there is an immediate need to work out a solution and save our earth before it becomes inhospitable, and we are supposed to flee earth in order to ensure the survival of our race on another planet which would cost us billions of fortune or become extinct like the dinosaurs, erasing our presence forever.
In the project I have mentioned several ways that I devised to involve the the elderly and the youth in saving our planet Earth.
If we start implementing on the ways that i have devised, there is a possibility that we will be able to achieve unity and become successful in sustaining life on earth.
I have named my team TERRA SAVIOUR , with an aim that one day with my days of continuous labour, i will be able to launch a platform which voices different opinions, which houses the sharpest minds which are busy thinking and innovating new ideas to make life easier for the humans on earth along with Eco friendly practice to ensure we gift a better earth to our future generations.
Take Action to ACT TO IMPACT is what I believe in and have shown the same in my project.
How I Developed This Project
The increasing harmful effects of Global warming and pollution inspired me to take up the challange of SUSTAIN as my project. I was keen in doing detail research to find out the root cause of these aggravating problems which could further help me in devising innovative ideas to sustain life on earth.
My approach was to develop a project that could instill the importance of why there is a need to take action right now so that we can sustain our earth. My main aim was to devise the ways which we can involve the most productive part of population in solving our crises.
I have mainly used PowerPoint to create my presentation, along with it i used the option of screen sharing so that i could demonstrate and explain my project.
Since i am participating for the first time, gathering resources was tough. everything was new to me. being the sole member, i had to devise new ways and work out properly. i had spent several sleepless nights developing the project that i am sharing with you. But with the final project that i made, is worth every energy i spent.
I have successfully completed the challange that i took, i have mentioned every topic with great details that i was required to do. I have successfully taken an action in Sustaining Our Planet for Future Generations.
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
The space agency provided me with accurate data of current level of pollution, temperature rise, sea level rise and various other factors.
I also used explanatory gifs and images from the site of NASA in my presentation.
All the statistics and data along with graph has been taken from the resource page of NASA.
